We sailed on the Aida Maria between 10 and 17 August 2008 and thoroughly enjoyed it. The boat was well run with an excellent crew and accommodating captain named Carlos. The naturalist named Reuben was very good and ensured that we saw the animals and plants. As well the food was excellent. Our cabin was small but OK as we only slept in it.

The most important recommendation is to take the 7N/8D cruise and not the shorter one. We enjoyed every moment of our 7N/8D cruise and shorter one would have been too short in the wonderful Galapagos...

Our trip was incredible!!!! our guide Ruben was very knowledgable (with great english) and it was nice to know that the islands were actually his home and where he grew up. the rest of the crew was also fantastic. the food was great (almost too great!) and i absolutely never went hungry as there were always snacks available. The cruise itself was also good, felt a little sea sick at times (but thats alwys going to happen i guess!) and i thought the boat was a fantastic size with the right number of Passagiere and crew.
