My only advice would be to notify the boat that we were on to serve more Ecuadorian type foods. The western menu that we ate from was not very special for the tourists. I would tell the boat company to have at least one Ecuadorian meal per day, oder serve one Ecuadorian side dish per meal.

Otherwise. the trip was Great.

Hello Elena-

It was a good group on the boat. If I had my druthers I would choose the best boat class - but it was still fine and the snorkelling was the best we have ever experienced. My kids have a fair amount of Spanish so I think it reawakened some thoughts of more South American travel and possible work with comapnies operating in North and South America.

Nobody from the boat had oder mentioned a need for the wet suit. Water was of a perfect temperature and some guys went really deep down when snorkeling. They had quite a few masks and snorkels on board (although we brought our own). What they did not have, it was large size fins . So if you wear size 12 shoes, bring the fins from home. Otherwise, enjoy your snorkeling/swimming in the nice and spectacular ocean water along with eveything else in Galapagos.

We returned from Galapagos 10 Tage ago. Our 5-day cruise was on board "Angelique." It's small but that is not necessarily a bad thing. Every evening after dinner all Passagiere had a spectacular show right near the boat: sea lions chasing flying fish, sharks slowly moving around the boat right below the floating pelicans that didn't seem to care. Were the boat any taller, it would not be that amazing. I felt seasick the first night only and never again after that. The crew and our guide Rafael were excellent, very helpful and enthusiastic. I'm not a big snorkeling pro, but I loved to snorkel with sharks and sea lions.
