Took a tour on the legend this past April (2009). It's larger than many of the other boats, holding up to 100 people. We upgraded to a Junior Suite. We had friends who booked a Balcony room and after visiting their room, the only difference was the balcony. Basically the same otherwise. The staff on the Legend were very friendly, helpful and professional. The excursions were well run and informative. The Naturalists were great. The outside pool is very small and the jacuzzi wasn't turned on when we wanted to go, but other smaller boats don't have them at all so no complaints. I would highly recommend the legend to anyone traveling the Galapagos. Just don't expect regular cruise line type food. It was OK but not the same quality that you would expect from a major cruise line. The outside bar was very nice. And at night, when they turn on the exterior lights after dinner, make sure and go watch all of the wildlife. We saw bait balls, seals, flying fish and sharks.

I was on the 'Legend' for 4 Tage in the Galapagos this month (May). My particular Naturalist guide was very good and the island excursions were good generally, although sometimes they seemed hurried and the focus seemed more on tourism than on the wildlife and natural history of the Galapagos. However my overall experience onboard the 'Legend' was very disappointing. I thought that much of the crew was condescending and unhelpful, giving only a superficial appearance of friendliness. Next time I go to the Galapagos, it definitely wont be onboard the 'Legend'. The Galapagos islands themselves are fantastic and deserves more than the 'Legend' can possibly offer. My next trip to the Galapagos will be with a smaller group on a much smaller yacht.
