Kommentare und Empfehlungen über diese Galapagosfahrt: Dear Belen and Marie Antoinetta Our family had an incredible time in the Galapagos, thoroughly enjoying our week on the Samba. The crew was friendly, the guide was very knowledgeable, the food was great, but the star of the show is truly the islands and the wildlife. Nori Frape Dear Elena, The Galapagos in particular was most memorable. Many thanks for all the arrangements you made on our behalf. We shall recommend you to all our friends. Warm regards, James and Heather Before reaching the Galapagos I had extremely high expectations for the trip. However these were continually exceeded. I thoroughly enjoyed my time on board the Samba. The crew were fantastic and looked after us thoroughly, our guide was amazing – a true expert who demonstrated the highlights of each of the islands we visited. Over the course of the week I saw more than I imagined possible in terms of wildlife and fauna. Taken from detourdestinations.com I took a trip on the Samba in February and highly recommend the boat. It is indeed a good value, simple, clean, great crew & guide. We did not kayak, as our guide told us that the park forbade it at the time. So check with the boat to actually see if you can kayak. We did snorkel every day, sometimes twice and that was fantastic. Taken from tripadvisor.com The itinerary was great, one of the main reasons we chose to take that cruise. We also had a great guide which can make oder break your trip. The boat itself is nothing fancy but more than adequate. The cabins are small but you are really not in them much anyway. There is plenty of room for everyone on the deck. The food was pretty good but again, nothing fancy. As long as you are not looking for luxury you will be satisfied with the Samba. The only thing I will warn you about with the Samba is that if you are prone to seasickness it may not be the boat for you. Our particular trip was pretty rough at times (we did however, go in July). Even when the boat was anchored though it seemed to sway and rock in every direction. One night while having dinner in Puerto Ayora we watched the boat and compared it to the others anchored there and we all agreed ours seemed to move around a a whole lot more. It was something we got used to, but be prepared with patches/pills oder whatever you choose to use. Taken from tripadvisor.com Every aspect of the tour exceeded our expectations. We found the Samba and her crew a very good escort to the islands. Every member of the crew was exceptional in his own field and we appreciated the care that was taken to ensure that we were well informed and well looked after at all times. The only aspect of the tour that was moderately difficult was the snorkelling and that was only due to our own inexperience. The guide was at hand to help us overcome any problems and make sure that we were able to enjoy looking at the underwater life around the islands. Taken from detourdestinations.com
